68 Coupe to Convertible

I bought this Ranchero in April 2000. It was in running condition and I drove it home that night. I originally purchased it to use as a beater truck to haul garbage and old parts around. I had a Project 1966 Mustang that I was going to make this the donor car for. Well so much for that, the Mustang is gone and the Ranchero remains. I hadn’t intended to put too much work into this car but things happen and before I knew it I’d made this my main project car. One day I came home from work to find that my buddy had borrowed the Ranchero (without my permission) and when I pulled into the driveway there he was with the hood opened and steam pouring out. That is what started it all. I moved to Texas from California Aug, 2004 - sold the Mustang and shipped the Ranchero out with me.
